Beechcraft King Air F90

The Beechcraft King Air F90 was introduced in 1978 as a performance-enhanced hybrid, combining the C90 fuselage with the T-tail and wing design of the King Air 200. Powered by twin Pratt & Whitney PT6A-135 engines producing 750 shp each, the F90 cruises around 265 knots and offers a range near 1,300 nautical miles. This unique configuration delivers the climb and cruise performance of a larger King Air while maintaining the compact, efficient cabin of the C90.

Only ~200 F90s were built, making it a prized model among King Air enthusiasts. It retains the rugged reliability, easy handling, and proven design of its predecessors while introducing improved stability and performance. Operators value it for its efficient operating costs and distinctive flying characteristics—offering a bridge between the simplicity of the 90 series and the capability of the 200.
